Raam op de maan

Donker lag ze op bed. De maan
scheen vol: hij dacht
dat hij haar schedel zag!

Voorzichtig lichtte hij de deken.
Alles was nat van de nacht en
van de dromen die nog zouden komen.

Hij stond op en keek door het raam.
Nooit had hij zo een droom onder
het waken, bedacht hij.

Toen spoedde hij zich terug: zij
ademde! En plotseling kreeg zij weer vel
en vlees en koude, van het lange wachten.

Window on the moon (a computer translation from Dutch into English)



Dark lay they on bed. The moon
appeared full: he thought
that he her skull saw!

Carefully he lifted the blanket.
Everything was liquid of the night and
of the dreams that yet would come.

He stood on and looked through the window.
He had never so a dream under
the watching, considered he.

When hurried he back: she
breathed! And sudden they again skin
and meat got and cold, of the long watches.




La finestra sulla luna (una traduzione di computer da inglesi in italiano)


La disposizione scura loro sul letto.
La luna è apparsa pieno: ha pensato
che egli il suo teschio ha visto!

Attentamente ha sollevato la coperta.
Tutto era il liquido della notte e
dei sogni che verrebbe ancora.

Ha stato in piedi su e guardato attraverso la finestra.
Ha avuto mai cosí un sogno sotto
l'osservazione, l'ha considerato.

Quando è affrettato sostiene: ha
respirato! Ed improvviso sbucciano ancora
e la carne ha preso ed il freddo, degli orologi lunghi.
